Hand-assembled microphone created from a rare World War II US Army field phone housed in a wooden box. View the pictures for unique markings and field instructions used during battle.
The original wires and components have been re-used so that the tone is the exact same from all those years ago, and there are certainly marks and scratches from decades of everyday use.
The cord cover is very fragile plastic and has pieces that crumble off if moved abruptly. Mentioning this now as it is noticeable how old the plastic is. The fabric cables themselves are fine.
This mic includes the "Mute Effect" design where the sound is muted when you hit the hang up button or turn the rotary dial.
Talk into the top receiver, which will pick up your voice clearly. Featuring a 1/4 inch output jack for you to connect this telephone microphone easily with your instrument cable to mixers, PA systems, pedalboards, and more.
