Hand-assembled microphone created from an old 1970s-era Western Electric Model 500 telephone. The original wires and components have been re-used so that the tone is the exact same from all those years ago, and there are certainly marks and scratches from decades of everyday use.
This mic includes the "Mute Effect"design where the sound is muted when you hang up or the rotary dial is turned. The sound returns to full volume when the dial is finished turning.
