Hand-assembled microphone created from an old 1940s Norwegian Telegrafverket telephone. This has a metal base which and a plastic bakelite receiver, lending insight that this telephone was made right as World War II was beginning.
The original wires and components have been re-used so that the tone is the exact same from all those years ago, and there are certainly marks and scratches from decades of everyday use.
